The length can be extended in 3 modes, where the minimum folded length is 27 inches (0.68 m) and maximum stretched length is 2.1m (18 cm). The height of the Gimbal gives an added advantage where lights or ring lights can be mounted on such Gimbals to full extent to give various photographic shades.
